The Webb House [80 W. 17th Ave., pictured here] was built in a simple Colonial Craftsman style. At first glance, the broad dormers give the appearance of a gambrel roof, suggesting a Dutch Colonial influence. Essentially intact, the house is simple in character, with ordinary form, detail and design typical of modest residential buildings of the period. It combines the massing of 1930s Colonial Revival houses with the wrap-around porch and eave, cladding and window details of the 1910s and 1920s Craftsman style.

The Webb House is significant architecturally as an intact example of a modest 1920s house.
